Experience with U.S. Department of Agriculture

In April 2007, SeNet was awarded by the USDA a Blanket Purchasing Agreement (BPA) for IT Certification and Accreditation Support for USDA Information Systems. This BPA qualifies SeNet to Provide C&A Phase I, Phase II and IV&V C&A support services as described below:

Phase I Per USDA C&A Guideline:

• System definition and scope

• System categorization

• Security controls identification and construction of compliance matrix

• Privacy Impact Assessment

• Security Plan Review

• Initial risk assessment execution or review

• Interconnection security agreement

• Scheduling of remaining C&A activities

Phase II Per USDA C&A Guideline

• Develop the Security test and Evaluation (ST&E) plan 

• Execute the ST&E plan

• Create the ST&E report and recommend countermeasures

• Update the risk assessment

• Update the system security plan and associated documentation

Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Per USDA C&A Guideline

• Develop the IV&V template

• Analyze, produce and submit the IV&V report

• Update Certification and Accreditation document

SeNet International have already successfully performed numerous tasks for  the Agriculture Marketing Service (AMS), the Foreign Agriculture Service (FAS) the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Ofice of the Chief Information Officer (OCIC), Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), the Departmental Administration (DA). and the National Finance Center (NFC, New Orleans LA), where we delivered multiple C&A packages and other services under extremely tight schedules and, as the client commented, “without sacrificing quality”.
